Mark Twain-Stonewall Jackson Dinner Theatre Weekend, Sept. 14-16, 2018

Wine & Dan with Mark Twain AND Stonewall Jackson! Our unique and one-of-a-kind "living history" weekend: "Mark Twain - Stonewall Jackson Dinner Theatre Weekend" at the Elkhorn Inn, Sept. 14-16, features two special Chef Dan Dinners, and both Mark Twain and Stonewall in attendance! Both historic characters are portrayed by Doug Riley, the scholar/actor who personifies both state-wide for the WV Humanities Council' "History Alive!" Program. In conjuntion with History Alive! and HEP McDowell, there will also be two FREE open-to-the-public performances by Mr. Riley: Mark Twain at 4 pm on Friday, and Stonewall Jackson at 4pm on Sataurday. This promises to be another great weekend of fine food, history, literature, and fun! The October "Mark Twain Weekend" at the Elkhorn Inn was featured twice on WVVA News television!
